Teen Artmaking Workshop: Fresh Views of the American Revolution

A teen printmakingJoin us for an art workshop created by and for teens!

This workshop has been entirely developed by our Student Engagement Committee of high schoolers from WJCC, York County, and Poquoson schools.

Participants will work with a contemporary artist and a student artist featured in our current special exhibition, “Fresh Views of the American Revolution” and will learn about the artists' work, what inspires them, and make their very own watercolor monotypes working with colorful Yupo paper and damp paper to create thematic transfer prints without a press.

This workshop also includes a light lunch and themed mocktails.

Tickets are $12.

Designed for ages 13 - 18.

The workshop is limited to 25 participants.
